Palestinians 'outside the camps' an additional obstacle to work

The Declaration of Human Rights did not exclude a person from the list of natural rights it stipulated, most notably the "right to work". Article 23 of it states the following: “Everyone has the right to work, to freely choose his work, to just and satisfactory working conditions, and to protection from unemployment.” Therefore, any emergency does not cancel the needs of any human being or lose his dignity.. This concept recognizes Everyone is against their languages and cultures, unless you are weak.

The causes of unemployment that require protection vary according to the human rights text around the world.. The Palestinian who has been expelled from his land is unique in that he is subjected to exclusion from job applications just because he is Palestinian. The issue now goes beyond the legislation that grants or prevents Palestinians from entering the Lebanese labor market.

Before going into all of this, did you know that the institutions of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the institutions located inside the Palestinian camps in Lebanon or on their doorsteps, in turn, deprive some of the expelled people from obtaining a decent job opportunity due to a desperate consideration?! In addition to this is the issue of party or political affiliation, and the principle of mediation, which is provided with qualifications.

Fatima says, with severe disappointment: "I applied for a job in an educational institution in Al-Bass camp in southern Lebanon... My qualifications recommended me to reserve an opportunity among the candidates for this job."

She added, "One of those involved in the affairs of the foundation told me that I will not get this job opportunity, due to the high cost of transportation, and because I am from outside the camp."

The doors to employment have been closed to refugees who live outside the camps and gatherings, and this refusal is not limited to institutions that require employees, but extends beyond it to reach UNRWA and official institutions, which in turn did not provide these young people with the job opportunities they needed.

Refugees have many experiences in searching for job opportunities. As if it is not enough for them to violate the International Bill of Human Rights, and not to give them their rights, there are other reasons that deprive them of their natural rights, most notably the right to work and earn a living, after their institutions and organizations have narrowed their vacancies.
