Burj Barajneh Branch

Within its strategic plan, Nuwat is working on a systematic expansion in different Palestinian refugee camps and gatherings in Lebanon, which aims at offering various services that, meet the urgent needs of a larger number of refugees without discrimination. Its fourth branch - Burj Al-Barajneh branch was established in January of the year 2020, with the contribution of the twinning committee between one of the French municipalities and the camp, since then the branch provides teaching support services for children enrolled in schools and alternative educational support for children, who have dropped out of schools from 6 to 12 years old within the alternative school project, it also provides for the same age group of children purposeful recreational activities (games, Crafts, art, discussion sessions, interactive activities, sports activities, trips, etc.) within the Palestinian Child Club “Farah” project
The Center participates in many social campaigns within the camp to help those in need and to ensure a healthy environment inside homes and camp in general, which it contributes in helping many of the poorest families in the camp of all nationalities with in-kind and financial assistance and some financial contributions in some expensive surgeries, and it also helps transfer some cases to other institutions according to the needs of each case due to the presence of data for the poorest families, the Burj Al-Barajneh branch has also been carrying out a clothing campaign since the year 2020 for a large number of needy children who did not benefit from the distributions of other institutions operating in the camp.
At the beginning of the year 2021, the Nuwat - Burj Al-Barajneh branch became part of Child Protection Network, Federation of Associations and Institutions, and Federation of Kindergartens
