Vaccines save the lives of between 2 to 3 million people around the world every year, as they are considered one of the most important means of prevention that protect individuals and communities from serious diseases that may lead to severe health complications or death. The importance of vaccines is particularly evident in early childhood, as they help build children's immunity against many common infectious diseases.
In this context, the coordinator of the "New Beam of Life" project organised a health awareness session about children's vaccines, targeting pregnant women and mothers who are beneficiaries of the project's activities. The session aimed to provide participants with essential information about the importance of vaccines, the vaccination schedule, common side effects, and answers to the questions and concerns that mothers may have regarding vaccinating their children.
This project is implemented with funding from Caritas Española.
