The psychologist within the Violet Home Project, Fatimah Bekaie, held an awareness session entitled “Cyber Extortion”, to increase awareness among the girls benefiting from the project about this dangerous and widespread scourge, especially in recent times. The session included a definition of Cyber Extortion, the means of Cyber Extortion, what are the most important measures they should take when exposed to Cyber Extortion, how to protect themselves from being exposed to Cyber Extortion, and what are the psychological effects resulting from it.
