Healthy Fasting Options for Teenage Girls

In an energetic and interactive atmosphere, the coordinator of the New Beam of Life project organized an awareness session for the students of the Violet Home Project on Healthy Fasting Options for Teenage Girls during Ramadan. The girls learned about the keys to a balanced diet, the importance of hydration, the need to avoid unhealthy habits, and how sleep and physical activity contribute to maintaining energy levels. The session also included practical tips to ensure a comfortable fasting experience without fatigue. It was an inspiring session that enhanced the girls' understanding of a healthy lifestyle during the holy month. Attachment and Relationships

As part of the "Violet Home" project, social counselor Nibal Shaaban organized an awareness session titled "Attachment and Relationships" for dropout students in the Ain al-Hilweh camp. The session aimed to highlight the importance of emotional and social bonds in the lives of these students. The significance of "Attachment and Relationships" lies in providing social support, which enhances self-confidence and encourages students to return to their studies. Additionally, building healthy and stable relationships contributes to improving mental health and reducing the likelihood of behavioral issues. Communication and Connection

As part of the Alternative School Project, the social worket conducted a group physical activity titled 'Communication and Connection' for dropout students in the Baddawi Camp. During the activity, the focus was on the importance of teamwork and how to develop effective communication skills through physical games and team cooperation. Life Skill Activities

As part of the Alternative School project, the social worker presented a life skills activity entitled “Communication.” This activity aims to develop students' skills in effective communication, and teach them how to express their thoughts and feelings in positive and correct ways. Through this activity, students learned the importance of active listening and speaking confidently, as well as how to build communication relationships based on mutual respect. It was a great opportunity to enhance daily life skills that help them interact better with their social and community surroundings.

A Sports Day

Nuwat Football Club held a sports day at its center in Beddawi camp, bringing together "Jenin team 'and "Nuwat" children's team, amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and friendly competition. The activity began with raising the Palestinian flags as a symbol of national unity, and the two teams competed with high sportsmanship and distinguished performance. The children sent a solidarity salute to the children of Gaza, expressing their support for them. The day concluded with the distribution of symbolic prizes, emphasizing the role of sports in enhancing cooperation and love and spreading joy among children.

Recreational Activities

As part of its recreational activities, the “Violet Home” project, implemented by Nuwat Association, organized a special trip for the students of the school dropout program and their mothers from Ain al-Hilweh and Nahr al-Bared camps. The trip included visits to “Baba Ghanouj” restaurant in Saida and “Al-Ameen” restaurant in Tripoli, where various meals were served to the participants, along with fun recreational activities and gift distribution. Positive Communication

The psychologist in Bedawi center in the Alternative School project carried out a psychological support activity entitled "Positive Communication" for children aged 6 to 10 years, with the aim of enhancing positive communication between the children in the group and with their surroundings. The psychologist, Fatima Bekaie, conducted a group psychological session for students as part of the Alternative School Project. Promoting Gender Equality

The Violet Home project, as part of the “Your Decision, Your Choice” campaign aimed at promoting gender equality and reducing early marriage, organized an awareness session for mothers on the topic of early marriage. This session was conducted in collaboration with the “ New Beam of Life” project and was attended by mothers of drop-out students, support students, and pregnant women benefiting from the projects.
