PALESTINIAN CHILD CLUB “FARAH”

Due to the extreme narrowness of the camp area of approximately 2 kilometers square and the high population density of more than eighty thousand people, it is completely impossible to find public places accessible to children for recreation and entertainment. There are also a few cultural and sports clubs for children that may serve as an outlet for them. With the continuous increase in the number of children in the camp, the need for such centers and projects increases, which has become more necessary and important with the advance of time.

"FARAH" is an educational and recreational project for children aged between 6 and 14 years old, the project was established as of December 2016, which aims to:

1)     Support children to live in a healthy and well fit environment that meets their needs.

2) Investing children’s free time in constructive activities, in addition to strengthening their connection with the temporary home camp for refugees, and enhancing their affiliation with their just cause and their motherland

3)   Develop a new generation of healthy and open-minded people by correcting the misconceptions inherited among children by promoting the concepts of unity, diversity and equality among children. And incomplete through the dissemination of information, correct, and a common view of the establishment of justice in Palestine.

Currently, this project is implemented in all branches of the association through self-funding and voluntary contributions through some of the initiatives and campaigns.
