The Seeds of Independence met on Friday, November 24, 2023, at the Palestinian Youth Center - Burj Al-Shamali Camp, in coordination with the Palestinian Youth Organization, a group of Palestinians of varying age groups, around a dialogue table entitled “The Palestinians of Lebanon in the Footsteps of Liberation.”
Everyone agreed on our right to return and self-determination, and we talked about the challenges we face as resistant refugees, starting from being in a host country, and ending with the living, societal, and security situation of our camps.
The audience recalled the history of the Palestinian refugees in establishing the revolution and our continuing resistance role until today, insisting that we have not deviated from the idea and goal of the Palestinian people as a whole, despite the delay in our role. We discussed ways to address this delay, so we concluded with the necessity of enhancing awareness and preparing generations, generation after generation, and using all Possible means of resistance, stressing that the time limit for this resistance is the liberation of all of Palestine from the river to the sea.
