"The mother is a school; if you prepare her, you prepare a good nation." With this beautiful phrase that reflects the value of mothers in our lives, students of the alternative school celebrated Mother's Day in a distinctive and impactful way by preparing greeting cards containing expressive messages for each mother. This took place as part of an activity on Friday in each of the camps of Ain al-Hilweh, Bourj al-Barajneh, and Al-Baddawi. The students expressed their love and gratitude to their mothers, showing appreciation for the significant role that mothers play in raising generations and building communities. awareness session or the drop-out students and their mothers

"A healthy mind in a healthy body"; within the Violet Home Project, based on this principle, a common awareness session was organized for the drop-out students and their mothers in Ein El Helwi camp under the title " Eating Disorders" with the psychologist Fatima Bekai where the attendees was introduced to the importance of healthy food, the diseases and symptoms a person may suffer due to wrong eating habits, and the nutritional behaviors one must follow to maintain a healthy body. This awareness session was followed by a life skills activity prepared by the social worker Nibal chaaban, where the students and their mother participate in building a food pyramid, colouring it, and distributing each type of food into its group. The attendees were interested where this activity helped to evaluate the extent to which they benefited from the session and in improving the relation between each girl and her mother. This project is funded by Cãritas Española.

entertainment activity for pregnant women and mothers

Nuwat Association organized an entertainment activity for pregnant women and mothers benefiting from the New Beam of Life project at Baba Ghanouj Restaurant in Saida. After the entertainment activity ended, we went for a walk on the seaside, and the women and children enjoyed it very much. The purpose of this activity was to facilitate the exchange of experience between pregnant women and mothers on topics related to pregnancy, childbirth, and child care. This activity is considered from the ways to help pregnant women and mothers improve their mood and mental health, especially in light of the difficult circumstances and daily problems they face.

The Violet Home project's coordinator "Fatima Akel" created a new idea under the name of "The Box of Thoughts" , aiming to give the students an opportunity to confidentially express their opinions and talk about their needs. Tens of the Italian and Arab people who were living in cagliari responded to the invitation of the Associazione Amicizia Sardegna Palestina for protest in the square of the city to denounce the Zionist aggression against people in Ghaza , and the speech of the European union supporting the occupation. The protest started with miss. Mary Angela in which she welcomed the participants and she presented the current situation in Ghaza strips, this was followed by speech of MR. fawzi – the head of the Associazione Amicizia Sardegna Palestina, in which he stressed in supporting the Palestinian resistance in Ghaza and the solidarity of the Cagliari residents with Palestinian people there, and condemned the official speeches of the European countries and the misleading role of the western media that is biased towards the Zionist entity . Seeds of Independence Network visited the Youth Department at the Palestinian

Within the framework of the coordination process with youth organizations, the Seeds of Independence Network visited the Youth Department at the Palestinian Embassy - Beirut on Friday, 8/25/2023. A dialogue session was held with the official of the Youth Department, Mr. "Mustafa Hamadi", and the Director of the Mahmoud Abbas Foundation for Palestinian Students - Lebanon Branch, Mr. "Nazih Shamma". This meeting aims to introduce the Seeds of Independence project, its objectives, and the youth network affiliated with the project. The session included talking about the possibility of coordinating the implementation of common youth activities aimed at mobilizing youth around the struggle against the occupation and about the role of the youth group within the Palestinian camps and its importance and their role as refugee youth in supporting the struggle against the occupation, where Mr. "Mustafa Hamadi assured the importance of integrating the youth into the political frameworks. Mr. "Nazih Shamma" added the need to increase educational awareness among young people due to its importance in the Palestinian struggle against the occupation.

On June 4, the Nuwat Association honored the honorable Mr. Muhammad Suleiman "Abu al-Abed" who completed his administrative duties in his belief in the necessity of giving young people the opportunity to assume responsibility and facilitating their access to public leadership positions. The honoring, which was held at the association's headquarters in Nahr al-Bared, was attended by the association's administrative body and all employees there, who praised the pioneering and leadership role played by Abu al-Abed, especially during the founding phase of the association's branch there. Where the Executive Director of the Society, Mr. Adel Abu Salem, presented a shield of honor to him as a token of thanks for the effort that Abu Al-Abed made over two years in administrative work. We wish him continued health and wellness Mr. Muhammad Othman has been appointed as the coordinator of the association in Nahr al-Bared We wish him success in his new assignment.
